Dudley Federation Quiz Night and Awards 2016
Instead of having the usual Awards Night at Christmas time, our members voted to have an event in the early part of 2016 and expressed an interest in a Quiz Night, so that’s what happened! We also managed to fit in a few award presentations for some groups who have been working particularly hard over the last year.
Quiz results:
Joint 3rd – ‘The Young ones + one’ (members of Butterfield Court, Beacon Hill & Arley & Compton TRAs) and the ‘House Rockers’ (Bowling Green and Corbyns Bromley TRAs)
Joint 2nd – ‘Tunnel Tenants’ (Darby End and Oval & Tudor TRAs) and ‘Chapel Street TRA’ (all members of Chapel Street TRA).
1st place – ‘5 + Him’ who were all from Ellowes Hall & Area TRA

Vicarage Prospect TRA – Re-invigoration
This TRA recently appointed a new chair who is firing on all cylinders and we’re really excited to see everything they have planned come to fruition! Keep up to date on them by liking them on Facebook.
Butterfield Court TRA – Continued Event Success
Members of Butterfield Court TRA hold a weekly coffee morning in the tenants room, boasting the ‘cheapest breakfast in the Borough’ and have done for many years. They also held a special fundraising morning recently supporting the Friends of Alfie Johnson. Their dedication and hard work is an inspiration. Have a look at their Facebook page.
Ellowes Hall & Area TRA – Social Media Performance
This group have really taken to the world of social media and run with it, they have a website as well as a Facebook page which is regularly updated with the various activities of the TRA and their partner groups.
Chapel Street Estate TRA – Outstanding Effort
These dedicated volunteers have taken their group from strength to strength, despite challenges they have faced they are determined to keep going and do the best for their area. Keep up to date on their goings on, including an upcoming litter pick on their Facebook page.
Bowling Green TRA – Community Action
The people of this area, with our own Chairperson Martin Smith at the helm, have successfully supported the introduction of a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) to control anti-social behaviour. See their upcoming meeting dates on their Facebook page.
